Privacy policy

This policy explains how Precimade processes the personal data collected on this site, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the amended French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978 (“Informatique et Libertés”).

Fields marked as required in the forms are necessary for us to answer you. We make no automated decisions about you and sell no data.
Recipients
Your data is accessible only to authorized Precimade staff (manufacturing engineering, sales, quality, management) and, if your project requires it, to the French companies of Processus Group (Origin 3D, Factory Plast), bound by the same confidentiality. Job applications are handled by the Processus Group human resources department.
The site’s forms store no data on the web server: your request and its files are sent by email to the relevant team, then deleted from the server once sent. Only an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address (HMAC, with a secret key kept on the server) is retained to limit abusive submissions; it is deleted automatically after about two hours.
Our technical processors are:
- OVH SAS (Roubaix, France), website hosting and form processing, data hosted in France;
- Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd (Microsoft 365), sending of form emails, messaging and document storage, data hosted in the European Union. Technical copies kept in the site’s sending mailbox (submissions with files, non-delivery reports) are deleted automatically about 30 days after sending, then permanently erased within the following 14 days.
Microsoft Ireland belongs to a group established in the United States. Any access from the United States, in particular for technical support, is governed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision and by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses included in Microsoft’s data protection addendum.
Confidentiality of your drawings
Drawings, 3D models and specifications you send remain your property. They are used solely to review and quote your request, stored in a restricted-access area and transmitted encrypted (HTTPS). A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) can be signed before anything is sent.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to set guidelines for what happens to it after your death. To exercise them, write to rgpd@processusgroup.com or to the registered office address, stating your request. We reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes (opens in a new tab), or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence in the European Union.
Security
Precimade implements appropriate technical and organizational measures: encrypted communications, access control, strong authentication, backups and logging.
